Manuscript critiques will be offered by our conference faculty.

You may submit fiction or nonfiction: one picture book (no more than 10 pages) or one magazine piece (no more than 10 pages) or the first 10 pages from a longer work for children including young adult. If multiple works are submitted, the shorter work will be critiqued.

Manuscripts must be typed, double-spaced, 12 point font, with one-inch margins. Name and address must appear on the first page plus name and title on succeeding pages.

Cost is $55 plus registration fee ($115) for a 15-minute face-to-face critique.

Mail your critique fee, plus registration fee (separate checks, please) and the first ten pages of your manuscript (or less) to Karen Orloff at the address listed on the registration page.

Deadline is Monday, May 20, 2024 for critique and registration fees.

Critique fees are non-refundable (unless the critique schedule is full).
